What full spectrum keeps
Full spectrum preserves the dominant cannabinoid (typically THCA), the secondary cannabinoids (CBD, CBG, CBN, THCV, etc.), the terpenes (myrcene, limonene, caryophyllene, etc.), and the flavonoids. Each compound contributes to the experience. The combination is sometimes called the entourage effect.

What isolate strips
Isolate processing removes everything except the target compound. The result is a near-pure crystal or oil. To restore flavor, manufacturers commonly re-introduce non-cannabis-derived terpenes or flavorings. The product loses its strain identity. The effect becomes more uniform across products.

Which is better
Neither is universally better. Full spectrum delivers a richer, more complex effect that varies by strain. Isolate delivers a cleaner, more predictable cannabinoid hit.
