Where variance comes from
Cannabis is sensitive to temperature, time, and handling. Each step between harvest and finished good introduces variance: temperature exposure, time delay, equipment differences, batch tracking gaps. The question is not whether a supply chain has steps. It is whether every step is recorded and every batch can be traced back through them.

What traceability means
Traceability means the finished product carries an unbroken record back to its inputs. In California that record runs through METRC, the state track-and-trace system. Every Waxx batch carries a METRC sample UID, a lab sample ID, and a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis from a licensed California laboratory.

Why it matters
A published, batch-specific COA is the difference between a claim and a verified result. It reports the cannabinoid and terpene profile of the exact unit in your hand rather than a brand average, and it confirms that the pesticide, residual solvent, heavy metal, and microbial screens passed for that batch.

What Waxx ships
Every Waxx product ships with a QR code that resolves to the batch-specific COA. Scan the package, read the lab results for that batch, and verify the product before you use it. That is the standard.
